Cradling Your Heart

I am the mouth
of a river flowing
into an endless sea,
the aching sun
burning itself
to give you light;

I am tomorrow
at your doorstep
and yesterday
in your heart.

When night comes
and my eyes are heavy,
I say a prayer and
a blessing for you
before sleep claims me.

I cast a wish
into the starry night
that you will feel me
cradling your heart
even when I am
not there.

Who are you missing
in your life now because
they are not physically present?

Given these strange times of isolation and social distancing from a worldwide pandemic, it is important to remember that the heart can reach beyond walls and borders and that we can hold those we love in our hearts and minds even when we are apart. Join Larry Dillenbeck and I for a webversation to help you reduce feelings of social isolation in the coronavirus pandemic. It’s free, fun, and a great way to connect with others from the comfort and safety of your home!
